Autumn is better than most people assume. The ground is workable, the calendar is less compressed than spring, and finishing in autumn means the space is ready the moment the weather turns. Spring and early summer book out well in advance.

It depends on size, materials, access, and how much drainage work the yard needs. Straightforward patios generally start in the low five figures. Full outdoor living spaces with seating walls and a fire feature or kitchen run into the mid five figures and above. We price it after seeing the property.
